Research papers: Geopolitics in the High North researchers participated with panels on security challenges and resource and environmental challenges at the International Studies Association's annual conference in February 2010.

Kristian Aatland, senior researcher at the The Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) presented a paper on the panel "Environmental security and regimes". Download Aatland's paper

Katarzyna Zysk, senior fellow at the IFS, presented also a paper on climate-driven transformations in the Arctic and Russia’s policy in the region on the panel "Geopolitics of the Russian Borderlands” .
